Creating Artificial Grass Gathering Spaces For Your West Covina Home

Artificial Grass West Covina, CA

Artificial Grass West Covina has over 14 years of experience installing artificial turf, synthetic putting greens, and specialty pet turf not only to West Covina but to Orange County, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles Counties as well.

There’s a reason we’ve been in business so long when most “turf installers” are in and out of business in just a few years – unparalleled experience and service. We use only the best domestic turf on the market to ensure the safety of your family and pet, coupled with some of the most experienced installers.

And due to our long standing history in the turf industry, we buy our turf at a fraction of what other companies can purchase it for, including The Home Depot. Thus, we’re able to balance our expert installers with the low cost of our products to bring you the best design, install, and customer service in the synthetic turf market.

You may find someone who can install as well as we can, but you won’t find anyone better.

You’re probably searching right now for the cost of artificial turf installation. For a quality, domestic turf installation, a ballpark would be between $9.00 – $14.00 per square foot, depending on whether it's synthetic putting greens, artificial pet turf, playground turf, etc. We have some great financing programs that do a soft credit check so as not to affect your credit. We can give you a great finance option on the spot while giving you your estimate. Factor in replacing your water and maintenance bills with financing your turf, and you'll probably be pretty close to break even.

Mind you, there are a lot of variables involve. What type of turf are you purchasing?  How far does the dirt and materials need to be carried? Is your area square, rectangular, circular or wavy? Are we installing bender board around trees, or installing treated wood borders along planters?

When we are contracted to install artificial grass to your home, business, multi-unit complex or school, we'll treat your property as if it were our own. We never oversell! In fact, our goal is to get you the best synthetic turf installation for your money.

12” square samples of turf that estimators bring out may look very different from each other laying on the ground side by side. Once they’re installed though, it’s a different story. Once the infill is installed and the turf is power brushed, you will often not be able to tell the difference between a more expensive turf and synthetic turf that can save you money.

We will always give you our recommendations while listening to your desires and needs.

We started as turf installers and grew from there. Over the years, to accommodate customer’s requests, we’ve added hardscape service to our menu as well, including pavers, stepping-stone installation, rock features, patio and barbeque slabs, water features, planters, and so much more.

We really can help you create a beautiful space rather than just “laying down some Astro turf” as they used to say back in the day.

When you call us, you can expect our consultants to educate you in the artificial turf industry. As the experts, we feel it is important for you to have enough information to make an educated decision.

Benefits – what are some of the benefits to installing artificial grass in your West Covina home?

  • Low maintenance artificial grass – No mowing or fertilizing. Your new artificial lawn will look great day after day. Rake the leaves and that’s about it. You may want to power brush it and add some infill 8-10 years down the road, depending on the wind, environment, usage, etc. The cost is a few hundred dollars eight years down the road, as compared to a weekly gardener, lawn fertilizer, pesticides, etc.

  • Artificial grass has no toxic or harmful pesticides or fertilizer that can harm your family or pollute the ground water.

  • Less water usage – Face it, we live in a desert. Droughts are always going to be part of our lives. It takes 44,000 gallons of water each year to maintain an 800 sqft. natural lawn. Over the course of 15 years that 800 square foot space can save up to 660,000 gallons of water if the natural grass were replaced with a synthetic lawn.

  • Cost saving - Water fines are here to stay, as well as rising water costs. Instead of paying for water and maintenance just to see a green patch when you look out your window, why not turn that natural lawn into a usable social or recreational space? You’ll also be saving on the gardener, harmful fertilizers and pesticides needed to maintain that natural lawn.

  • Better drainage – Did you know artificial grass drains up to 50% faster than natural lawns? If your yard is prone to slow water drainage, mud holes, wet clay, then you might consider installing artificial grass. In addition, your pets and kids won’t be slogging mud into the house every time it rains

  • Cost – What does a good synthetic turf installation run? About $9 - $14.00 a square foot if you are using a good quality turf. Synthetic grass initially does cost more to install than a natural  lawn. Homeowners can possibly realize a saving, though, within 3-4 years. And that doesn’t weigh in the other benefits listed above.

  • Allergies – are your children or pets allergic to natural grass or the chemicals used to maintain the grass? Artificial turf is the perfect solution! Your kids will be able to roll around on their new artificial turf in comfort, and you’ll have peace of mind.

  • Insects and pests. Since artificial turf is not organic, insects and pests do not like to build their home in artificial grass. No more lawns hatching full of bugs and fleas – especially if you have dogs.

Types of turf

There are many types of synthetic grass, and they all have their own specifications and variations. Helping you choose the best for your project is what matters.

  • Shade – All artificial grass is not simply green. There are darker greens and lighter greens. Depending on the shadows and sunlight, you may want to install a lighter green turf.

  • Pile height – the blade of the grass can also make a difference. If you have a high traffic area, you may want to stick with a shorter pile, so you don’t see a beaten path of footprints through your turf. You want a turf that “springs back”. Leave the longer bladed synthetic grass for more ornamental uses. Longer bladed synthetic turf is great to use as borders around a smaller bladed turf, or in areas that you want to look more lush

  • Traffic – a good artificial grass manufacturer will have various specifications for various traffic. We don’t have our clients pay for a high traffic turf when a less expensive, low traffic turf would look just as good and cost less money.

  • Use – Synthetic putting greens and artificial pet turf serve two different purposes and therefore are manufacture specifically for those purposes.

  • Color – Maybe you want an orange color, like we install at 76 gas stations? How about white or black? Artificial grass now comes in a variety of colors.
